Biography
David Bowker is a British screenwriter and author. Born in Manchester, he began his career as a journalist and columnist for The Times before turning to fiction and television writing.
His television credits include episodes of Casualty (2008–2022), Coronation Street (2008–2009), Holby City (2013–2014), Waterloo Road (2015) and The Coroner (2015–2016). He has also written the BBC1 drama Truants (2004) and several radio plays.
Bowker has published seven novels, including The Death Prayer (1995), Rawhead (2002) and How to Be Bad (2005).
