Biography
David J. North is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from Indiana University in 2003 and joined the support staff of the newly launched series NCIS that year. He moved to the writing staff in 2005 and contributed numerous episodes, including teleplays and stories, before leaving after the season six finale.
North later wrote for Rizzoli & Isles and Scorpion, and contributed to NCIS: Los Angeles. He returned to NCIS as an executive producer and co-showrunner in season 14, and co-created the prequel series NCIS: Origins (2024) with Gina Lucita Monreal, serving as its showrunner.
