Biography
Lam Wai is a Hong Kong actor. He was born on 8 October 1954 in Yantai, Shandong Province, China. He entered the Shaw Brothers Studio martial arts actor training class in 1978 and made his film debut the following year.
He first came to attention for his leading role in Long Arm of the Law (1984), for which he received a nomination for Best New Performer at the 4th Hong Kong Film Awards. Lam Wai is known for his appearances in A Chinese Ghost Story (1987) as Swordsman Hsia Hou, Project A - Part II (1987) as Superintendent Chun, Dragons Forever (1988), King of Beggars (1992) and Flirting Scholar (1993).
