Biography
David Madden is an American film and television producer and executive. Born on 25 July 1955 in Chicago, he began his career as a story analyst at 20th Century Fox before advancing to vice president of production at Paramount Pictures. He later became a partner in the Cort/Madden production company, which developed and produced numerous feature films.
His producing credits include The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992), Runaway Bride (1999) and Save the Last Dance (2001). He executive-produced the HBO television film Something the Lord Made (2004), which won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Made for Television Movie. Madden has also held senior executive positions at Fox Broadcasting, AMC Networks and Berlanti Productions.
