Biography
David Simkins is an American screenwriter and television producer. He wrote the screenplay for the feature film Adventures in Babysitting (1987), his first produced script. He has contributed as a writer and producer to numerous television series, beginning with The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (1993–1994).
Simkins grew up in South Bend, Indiana, and graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in film and broadcasting in 1982. His television credits include writing and producing roles on Charmed (1998), Dark Angel (2000), Roswell (1999), Warehouse 13 (2009), Grimm (2011) and Wu Assassins (2019). He co-created the series Vengeance Unlimited (1998) and Mercy Point (1998).
