Biography
David Wiener is a writer and producer for television and film. His television writing credits include episodes of The Killing (2011), Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2016), Flesh and Bone (2015), Strange Angel (2018), Homecoming (2018) and Halo (2022–2024). He served as showrunner on Halo season 2 and created and showran the series Brave New World (2020).
Wiener began his career as a playwright. His play Extraordinary Chambers received the 2010 ACT New Play Award and the 2011 LA Drama Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Play after its premiere at the Geffen Playhouse. He has also written the screenplay for the film Leonie (2010). He has received Emmy nominations for his television work.
