Biography
David Wu is a Hong Kong-born film editor. He edited A Chinese Ghost Story (1987), directed by Ching Siu-tung and produced by Tsui Hark.
Wu began his career at Shaw Brothers Studio as an assistant editor in the 1970s. He has edited numerous films for directors including John Woo and Tsui Hark, with credits such as Hard Boiled (1992) and The Bride with White Hair (1993). He has also worked as a director on television projects after moving to North America.
