Biography
Davis Coombe is an American documentary film editor, writer, producer and director. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Coombe edited The Social Dilemma (2020), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award, Casting JonBenet (2017), Chasing Coral (2017), Chasing Ice (2012) and the short Saving Face (2012), which earned him another Emmy. He also wrote and edited A LEGO Brickumentary (2014). He served as co-editor on The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist (2026).
Born in Denver, Colorado, Coombe has worked on numerous documentaries since the late 1990s.
