Biography
Dean Denton is an American actor. Born on 10 November 1962 in Dermott, Arkansas, he was raised in McGehee and Conway and attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
He began his career with a minor role in the 1982 miniseries The Blue and the Gray. After training in Dallas at the Film Actors Lab, he moved to Los Angeles in 1989, where he secured early television work including on Days of Our Lives. Denton has appeared in more than 60 film and television productions.
He is known for his role as Deputy Bob Alcorn in The Highwaymen (2019), as well as parts in Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Devotion (2022), American Underdog (2021), The Peripheral (2022) and Causeway (2022). Denton is married to Julie Denton, first cousin of actor Josh Lucas.
