Biography

Dean Haglund is a Canadian actor and comedian. Born on 29 July 1965 in Oakbank, Manitoba, he holds a B.F.A. from Simon Fraser University (1991) and has performed improvisational comedy with the Vancouver TheatreSports League.

He is best known for portraying Richard 'Ringo' Langly, one of the Lone Gunmen, in the television series The X-Files (1994–2018) and its 1998 feature film, as well as the spin-off series The Lone Gunmen (2001). Other credits include the voice of Sid in the animated film Tom Sawyer (2000) and guest appearances in series such as Bones (2005) and Femme Fatales (2011). He is also the inventor of the Chill Pak, an external laptop cooling device.
