Biography
Debris Stevenson is a British playwright, grime poet and actor. She made her screen acting debut as Etsy in the 2022 film Medusa Deluxe.
She is the author of the grime musical Poet in da Corner, first staged at the Royal Court in 2018 and toured nationally in 2020. She co-adapted Cyrano de Bergerac for the Royal Shakespeare Company and has written plays including My Brother’s a Genius. Stevenson founded the Mouthy Poets company, has performed in over 30 countries and is completing a PhD at Oxford Brookes University.
