Biography
Debs Paterson is a British director and screenwriter working in film and television. She is also credited as Debs Gardner-Paterson on earlier projects.
She directed episodes of the series Halo (2022), Willow (2022), A Discovery of Witches (2018), Domina (2021) and The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself (2022). Her feature debut Africa United (2010) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received a British Independent Film Award nomination for Best Debut Director; she was named a BAFTA 'Brit to Watch'. Paterson also directed the documentary The Skywalker Legacy (2020) and episodes of Strike Back (2010).
She has directed further episodes of series including For Life (2020), Harlots (2019) and upcoming projects such as Neuromancer and Spartacus: House of Ashur.
