Biography
Delia Mayer is a Swiss actress and singer. She was born on 8 March 1967 in Hong Kong and grew up near Zürich. She trained in acting, dance and singing in Vienna, and studied classical singing at the Zürich Conservatory and the BGZ Opera School.
Mayer is known for her role as Miriam Shapiro in the Netflix miniseries Unorthodox (2020). Other screen credits include Sarah in The Tattooist of Auschwitz (2024), Liz Ritschard in the Swiss Tatort series (2012–2019), Isabel Becker in Die Cleveren, and Golda Meir in Die Spaltung der Welt (2024) and Band of Spies (2025). She has also worked extensively in theatre and musical theatre, and released the album These Days with her brother, drummer Jojo Mayer. She is the daughter of jazz musician Vali Mayer.
