Biography
Delphin, born Jules Delphin Sirvaux, was a French actor. He was born on 12 October 1882 in Les Fessey, Haute-Saône, and died on 6 May 1938 in Paris.
He began his career exhibiting at the 1900 Exposition in Paris before performing on stage and in Montmartre cabarets. Delphin appeared in five films, including the role of the college principal in Jean Vigo's Zéro de conduite (1933) and as the fool in Jacques Feyder's La Kermesse héroïque (1935).
