Biography
Denise Péronne (also credited as Denise Perronne) was a Swiss actress. Born on 22 September 1920 in Porrentruy, Switzerland, she appeared in supporting roles in French cinema from the late 1940s until the 1970s. She was the daughter of the jurassian scientist and photographer Albert Perronne.
She is known for her performance as Jeanne Gouard in René Clément's Forbidden Games (1952). Other credits include uncredited parts in Jacques Tati's Mon Oncle (1958) and René Clément's Gervaise (1956), as well as roles in Gérard Oury's The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob (1973) and several films directed by Jean-Pierre Mocky. She also appeared in television series.
Péronne died on 1 September 1978 in Delémont, Switzerland. A street in the town was named after her in 2023.
