Biography
Dennis Wilson was an American actor and musician. A founding member and drummer of the Beach Boys, he made his only screen appearance as The Mechanic in the 1971 road film Two-Lane Blacktop, directed by Monte Hellman.
Wilson was born on 4 December 1944 in Hawthorne, California, and died on 28 December 1983. He starred opposite fellow musician James Taylor in the cult road movie, which follows two drivers racing across the United States.
