Biography
Dhia Cristiani was an Italian actress and voice actress. She trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, graduating in 1938, and appeared in supporting roles in films from the late 1930s onwards.
Her screen credits include Ossessione (1943), in which she played Anita alongside Clara Calamai and Massimo Girotti, as well as earlier films such as Fari nella nebbia (1942) and Sissignora (1942). She returned briefly to acting for Tua per la vita (1955). From the mid-1940s she worked primarily as a dubbing actress, providing Italian voices for numerous international stars.
Cristiani was married to Giuseppe Ventriglia. She died in Rome on 17 July 1977 and is buried in her birthplace of Dovadola.
