Biography
Dianne Doan is a Canadian actress. She was born on 8 September 1990 in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and is of Vietnamese descent with Chinese ancestry through her grandmother. She began technical dance training at the age of ten and developed an interest in acting during grade nine drama classes.
Doan performed as a dancer at the 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremony and as a backup dancer for Michael Bublé, as well as in music videos. Her breakthrough acting role came as Lonnie in the 2015 Disney Channel film Descendants, which she reprised in Descendants 2 (2017). She has also appeared as Yidu in Vikings (2016), Mai Ling in Warrior (2019–2023), and provides the voice of Zi in the 2026 series Avatar: Seven Havens. She is married to actor Manny Jacinto.
