Biography
Dick Bush, also credited as Richard Bush or Richard Henry Bush, was a British cinematographer. He worked on feature films and television from the mid-1960s to the mid-1990s. After attending Plymouth Art College, he served in the Royal Military Police and later produced promotional films before joining the BBC in 1961.
His feature credits include When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth (1970), Phase IV (1974), Tommy (1975), Sorcerer (1977), Yanks (1979), Victor/Victoria (1982), The Philadelphia Experiment (1984), The Lair of the White Worm (1988), Switch (1991) and Son of the Pink Panther (1993). He collaborated frequently with directors Ken Russell and Blake Edwards. Bush won a BAFTA Television Award in 1967 and received nominations for BAFTA and British Society of Cinematographers awards.
