Biography
Didier Leplae is a composer and sound department professional. He is credited as composer on the Netflix series Master of None (2015–2017), where he worked alongside Joe Wong. His other credits include music for the Adult Swim series Superjail! (2011–2012) and Ballmastrz: 9009 (2018–2020), as well as films such as Hamlet A.D.D. (2014), The Yes Men Are Revolting (2014) and Bad Johnson (2014). He contributed sound to American Movie (1999) and music to the documentary 6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park (2011) and A Home Called Nebraska (2020).
Leplae is based in Milwaukee, where he grew up in the Shorewood neighbourhood and has long been active in the Riverwest area. He has collaborated extensively with Wong on film and television projects and has performed in several local bands, playing guitar and other instruments including the Turkish saz.
