Biography
Dime Davis is an American director and producer. She directed episodes of the ABC series Abbott Elementary (2021–), the BET series Boomerang (2019–2020), for which she also served as co-showrunner on the second season, and the HBO series A Black Lady Sketch Show (2019), on which she was also executive producer.
Davis was raised in Houston, Texas, and trained at the American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women. She has also directed episodes of Welcome to Flatch (2022) and written an episode of Modern Love (2021). She received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series for A Black Lady Sketch Show.
