Biography
Dimitri Diatchenko (11 April 1968 – 21 April 2020) was an American actor and classical guitarist. A native of San Francisco, California, he attended Newton North High School in Massachusetts and studied music at Stetson University in Florida before completing a master's programme in acting and music at Florida State University.
His screen debut came in 1997 as a trainee in G.I. Jane. Diatchenko appeared in films including Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) as a Russian Suit, Get Smart (2008) and Chernobyl Diaries (2012), and in television series such as How I Met Your Mother, Criminal Minds, Sons of Anarchy and 2 Broke Girls. He also provided voice work for animated series and video games. In addition to acting, he released four solo guitar albums and performed regularly as a classical guitarist.
