Biography
Dmitry Andreev is a Russian costume designer specialising in historical and period films. Born on 4 June 1973 in Moscow in the former USSR, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School-Studio in 2000 after earlier work as a costume technologist at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre.
He is known for his costume design on films including Dear Comrades! (2020), Sin (2019), The Conquest of Siberia (2019), Tchaikovsky's Wife (2022) and Paradise (2016), frequently collaborating with director Andrei Konchalovsky. Andreev has received nominations and awards for his work, including a Golden Eagle.
