Biography
Dohn Norwood is an American actor. He is known for his role as Psalms Jackson in the AMC series Hell on Wheels (2011–2016). He has also appeared in guest roles in series including The Rookie (2018), Mindhunter (2017), Station 19 (2018) and The Sinner.
Norwood was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College and a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the University of California, San Diego. His early stage work in Los Angeles included the role of Romeo in a 2001 production of Romeo and Juliet at the Ahmanson Theatre, directed by Sir Peter Hall.
