Biography
Dominique Dawson is a costume designer based in Los Angeles. A San Francisco native, she trained in the Director’s Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and began her career in theatre before moving into film and television.
She has designed costumes for numerous television series, including over 164 episodes across shows such as Love That Girl, Family Time and LA’s Finest. Her feature and series credits include The Last Black Man in San Francisco (2019), Colin in Black & White (2021), DMZ (2022), Swarm (2023), Origin (2023), HIM (2025) and Chad Powers (2025). She also worked on the animated film GOAT (2026).
Dawson received an Emmy nomination for her work on Swarm.
