Biography
Don Bernier is an American documentary film editor. He began his career in the edit rooms of Insignia Films and David Grubin Productions in New York City. He is a two-time Sundance Institute Documentary Edit and Story Lab Fellow and became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Documentary Branch in 2017. He has been a member of American Cinema Editors (ACE) since 2022.
Bernier’s editing credits include Audrie & Daisy (2016), An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (2017), Athlete A (2020) and Lead Me Home (2021). Other notable work includes Always in Season (2019), Charm City (2018) and Life After (2025).
