Biography
Donald Paul Roos is an American screenwriter, director and producer. Born on 14 April 1955 in New York, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame and began his career writing for television series such as The Colbys and Nightingales.
His screenwriting credits include Single White Female (1992), Boys on the Side (1995), Diabolique (1996), Marley & Me (2008) and The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society (2018). He directed his own screenplays for The Opposite of Sex (1998), Bounce (2000) and The Other Woman (2010). On television he created Web Therapy and wrote episodes of This Is Us (2017–2018) and Younger (2017–2021).
Roos has been married to actor and producer Dan Bucatinsky since 2008.
