Biography
Don Vargas is a costume designer and costumer who worked in film and television from the mid-1970s onwards.
He received a costume design credit on Cannonball Run II (1984). Other credits include men's costumer or costume supervisor on Smokey and the Bandit II (1980), MegaForce (1982), Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985), My Science Project (1985), The Color Purple (1985) and A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001). From the late 1990s he worked frequently as personal costumer to Steve Martin, on films including Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), Shopgirl (2005), The Pink Panther (2006) and The Pink Panther 2 (2009). He also served as men's costume supervisor on the television series Murder, She Wrote (1994–1996).
