Biography
Donald Gallaher (also credited as Don Gallagher) was an American actor and director. Born in Quincy, Illinois, he began his career as a child performer on the New York stage after moving there with his mother and appeared uncredited as the Little Boy in the 1903 film The Great Train Robbery.
He acted in stage productions and films through the 1910s and 1920s, including Eye for Eye (1918), and later took uncredited screen roles in Keeper of the Flame (1943) and Road to Utopia (1946). Gallaher directed five films, among them Temple Tower (1930), and produced several Broadway plays. In 1949, credited as Don Gallagher, he narrated the short-lived anthology series ABC Television Players.
