Biography
Donna M. Berwick (1958–2024) was an American costume designer. Born in Queens, New York, she earned a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an associate degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
She began her career as a fashion designer in New York and was a member of the Black feminist arts collective Rodeo Caldonia. Berwick worked extensively with directors Spike Lee and Ernest Dickerson. Her credits as costume designer include Juice (1992), Inside Man (2006), Da 5 Bloods (2020) and the series Miracle's Boys (2005). She received a Costume Designers Guild nomination for Da 5 Bloods.
