Biography
Dot Farley, also credited as Dorothea Farley, Dorothy Farley or Mrs Farley, was an American actress. She appeared in more than 280 films between 1910 and 1950.
She gained stage experience in stock theatre and made her film debut in 1910. Farley was known for her work in short comedies, appearing in many Mack Sennett productions during the silent era, and later played the recurring role of Edgar Kennedy’s mother-in-law in his RKO short-film series. She also wrote scenarios and stories for films.
Her credits include uncredited parts in The Women (1939), Cat People (1942) and Hail the Conquering Hero (1944). Farley died in South Pasadena, California.
