Biography
Du Jie is a Chinese cinematographer. He attended the Attached High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts from 1993 to 1997 and graduated from the Beijing Film Academy’s cinematography department in 2001.
He has worked on films including Crazy Stone (2006), No Man’s Land (2013), The Wasted Times (2016) and the Detective Chinatown series (2015, 2018, 2021). He has received nominations for Best Cinematography at the Golden Horse Film Festival and the Golden Rooster Awards. In 2024 he became a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
