Biography
Dušan Milavec is a Slovenian production designer. Born in 1950 in Postojna, he trained as an architect and began working in film in the early 1980s as an assistant scenographer before taking on solo production design credits from 1987.
He is known for his work on No Man's Land (2001), directed by Danis Tanović, and later collaborated with the same director on Cirkus Columbia (2010). Other credits include production design on Landscape No. 2 (Pokrajina št. 2, 2008) and The World Is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner (2008). He has received five awards, including the lifetime achievement Badjura Award in 2016.
