Biography
Eamonn Owens is an Irish actor born on 18 January 1983 in Killeshandra, County Cavan. He made his screen debut as Francie Brady in Neil Jordan's The Butcher Boy (1997). For the role he received an Honourable Mention at the 48th Berlin International Film Festival.
Owens has appeared in films including The General (1998), Angela's Ashes (1999) alongside his brother Ciaran Owens, The Magdalene Sisters (2002), Breakfast on Pluto (2005) and Dorothy Mills (2008). He has worked in television and on stage, with credits dating from 1997.
