Biography
Earl Watson was an American film and television editor. Born in 1948, he began his career in sound editing before moving into picture editing, with credits including Psychic Killer (1976) and Hi-Riders (1978).
Watson edited numerous feature films, often comedies, such as House Party (1990, on which he also served as second unit director), Boomerang (1992), CB4 (1993), The Great White Hype (1996), The Ladies Man (2000), Two Can Play That Game (2001), Deliver Us from Eva (2003) and You Got Served (2004). He also edited episodes of the television series Everybody Hates Chris (2005–2009).
He was a member of the American Cinema Editors and died in Los Angeles in 2012.
