Biography
Eberhard Taubert was a German writer and propagandist. He wrote the screenplay for the Nazi propaganda film Triumph of the Will (1935), directed by Leni Riefenstahl. He is also credited with the idea for The Eternal Jew (1940), directed by Fritz Hippler.
Taubert was born on 11 May 1907 in Kassel and died on 2 November 1976 in Cologne. From 1933 he worked as an official in the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda under Joseph Goebbels, rising to a senior position and contributing to anti-communist and anti-Semitic propaganda efforts.
