Biography
Eddie Brugman (born Edward Joannes Lodewijk Verbruggen) was a Belgian actor. Born in Antwerp on 4 November 1943, he died in Nieuwkoop, Netherlands, on 7 February 2019. He began acting in the early 1960s and appeared in numerous television series and films over four decades.
His early television work included the lead role as archaeologist Peter Bergen in the Flemish youth series De Tijdscapsule (1963–1964). Film credits include Katie Tippel (1975) as Andre, the lead in Pallieter (1976), and Ruud van den Bos in A Question of Silence (1982). He also appeared in Broken Mirrors (1984).
Brugman had further roles in Dutch and Belgian television series such as Westenwind and 12 Steden, 13 Ongelukken, and continued working into the 2000s.
