Biography
Eddie Velez is an American actor. Born Edwin Velez on 4 June 1958 in New York City, he is the son of Puerto Rican parents. After serving in the US Air Force, he moved to Los Angeles and trained at the Estelle Harmon Actors Workshop. He began his career in stage productions, including the world premiere of Delirious, for which the cast received a Drama-Logue Award for Best Ensemble.
Velez is best known for playing Frankie Santana in the final season of the television series The A-Team (1986–1987). His film credits include Repo Man (1984) as Napo, Traffic (2000) as Agent Johnson and White Chicks (2004) as Agent Vincent Gomez. He has appeared in numerous television guest roles, including episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger, Murder, She Wrote, JAG, Charmed and Numb3rs.
