Biography
David Giorgobiani is a Georgian actor. He was born on 5 August 1955 in Tbilisi and graduated from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University in 1977. He spent eight years as a member of the Shota Rustaveli State Theatre before moving into other work including television presenting and directing.
Giorgobiani is known for his film roles including Orbeli in Russian Ark (2002) and Sandro Barateli in Repentance (1984). His other credits include appearances in The Beloved Woman of Mechanic Gavrilov (1982), Etyudy o Vrubele (1989) and the television series Stalin: Live (2006).
