Biography
Edla Hansen was a Danish film editor. She began working as a film cutter at Nordisk Film in 1915 and later held positions at A/S Palladium and Valby before returning to Nordisk Film, where she served as director of the editing department from 1936.
Hansen edited the 1922 film Häxan, directed by Benjamin Christensen. Her other credits include For frihed og ret (1949), Ditte, Child of Man (1946) and Susanne (1950). She was married to Holger Christian Hansen and remained active in the industry until around 1950.
