Biography
Eduardo de Gregorio was an Argentine screenwriter and director. He contributed to the screenplay for Bernardo Bertolucci's The Spider's Stratagem (1970), alongside Bertolucci and Marilù Parolini, adapting a short story by Jorge Luis Borges.
He worked on several films associated with Jacques Rivette, providing dialogue for Céline and Julie Go Boating (1974) and writing for Duelle (1976). De Gregorio later directed features including Sérail (1976), Aspern (1982) and Corps perdus (1989). He lived in Paris from the early 1970s and taught at film schools there.
De Gregorio died in Paris in 2012.
