Biography
Eike Hosenfeld is a German composer. Born in 1974 in Offenbach am Main, he studied sound engineering at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen „Konrad Wolf“ in Potsdam-Babelsberg from 1996 and graduated as a Diplom-Toningenieur.
He co-founded the Tonbüro studio in Berlin with Christian Riegel and Moritz Denis. Hosenfeld has composed for numerous German films and television productions, including the series Die Bergretter (2009–) and Löwenzahn, as well as feature films such as Devotion (2003). He co-composed the score for Sound of Falling (2025, also known as In die Sonne schauen) with Michael Fiedler; the pair received a nomination for European Composer (Original Score) at the 2026 European Film Awards.
