Biography
Einar Egeland is a Norwegian film editor. He edited Zero Kelvin (1995) and has worked on numerous Norwegian feature films, including Hawaii, Oslo (2004), Troubled Water (2008), The King's Choice (2016) and Utøya: July 22 (2018). He trained at the London Film School and served as a professor at the Norwegian Film School in Lillehammer.
Egeland won the Kanonprisen for best editing for Hawaii, Oslo in 2004 and Amandaprisen awards for Troubled Water (2009) and The King's Choice (2017). Between 2008 and 2012 he was a feature-film consultant at the Norwegian Film Institute. He is the son of cultural writer Erik Egeland.
