Biography
Elaine Turrell is a British actress. She is known for playing a nun in the BBC series A Very Peculiar Practice (1986–1988), appearing across 14 episodes of the two series.
Her other television credits include roles in Boon (1987) as Mrs Singer, The Gravy Train (1990) as the Dumpy Lady, Flying (1990) as Mum, The Investigation: Inside a Terrorist Bombing (1990) as Ex-Policewoman Joyce Lynas, Bad Company (1993) as Mrs Riebold, and Dangerfield (1997) as Mrs Lyddon. She is the mother of Alex Freeborn.
