Biography
Eliza Butterworth is an English actress. She was born in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, in 1993 and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating with a BA in Acting in 2014.
Butterworth is best known for portraying Lady Aelswith across all five series of the historical drama The Last Kingdom (2015–2022). Her other television credits include Hester in the miniseries The North Water (2021), for which she received a National Film Award nomination, and Carly Lord in A Town Called Malice (2023). She voiced Masha in the film The Pod Generation (2023).
Earlier roles include guest appearances in DCI Banks (2015) and WPC 56 (2015).
