Biography
Elizabeth-Anne Wheal is a British television writer. She began her career as a journalist and historian before moving into scriptwriting for television in the early 1990s.
She has written numerous episodes for British crime drama series, including Midsomer Murders, The Bill, Blue Murder and Dalziel and Pascoe. Wheal has also authored historical reference works on the First and Second World Wars, and has worked as a script consultant, mentor and teacher of fiction writing and journalism. She is a former chair of the Scriptwriters Group at the Society of Authors.
