Biography
Elwood Reid (born 19 December 1966) is an American novelist, short-story writer and television screenwriter and producer. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he attended the University of Michigan, where he played college football and later earned an MFA in creative writing.
Reid published the novels If I Don't Six (1998), Midnight Sun (2000) and D.B. (2004), and the short-story collection What Salmon Know (1999). His television work includes writing and producing on Cold Case (2008–2010), Hawaii Five-0 (2011–2012), The Bridge (2013–2014, which he co-created and showran), The Chi (2018), Big Sky (2020–2021), Barkskins (2020, which he created) and Tracker (2024–present).
