Biography
Emanuele Taglietti, also credited early in his career as E. Benazzi Taglietti or Emanuele Benassi Taglietti, is an Italian production designer, illustrator and painter. Born in Ferrara on 6 January 1943, he studied at the local Istituto d'arte before training in scenography at the Centro sperimentale di cinematografia in Rome.
He worked in film during the 1960s and early 1970s, receiving a production-design credit on Federico Fellini's Juliet of the Spirits (1965) and contributing to titles including The Harem (1967), Il giovane normale (1969) and several RAI television productions. In 1973 he left cinema to focus on illustration, painting more than five hundred covers for Italian fumetti published by Edifumetto.
