Biography
Emilio Díez is a Spanish television writer and creator. He studied law before training in screenwriting at the ECAM in Madrid.
His credits include writing for Money Heist (seasons 3 and 4, 2019–2020), The Boarding School (2007–2010), The Pier (2019–2020) and earlier series such as Periodistas and Los Serrano. He created the series Toledo (2012) and Algo que celebrar (2015).
Díez was born in Madrid in 1975 and has family roots in León. In 2025 he published his first novel, the psychological thriller Soma.
