Biography
Emily Altman is a television writer, producer and occasional voice actress. She began her career contributing sketches and writing for Inside Amy Schumer in 2014 before joining the writing staff of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2016), where she worked as a writer and story editor.
Altman has been a writer and producer on the animated Netflix series Big Mouth since 2017, also providing voices for several characters. Her other credits include The President Show, Difficult People and Digman!. She received Emmy nominations for her work on Big Mouth and Inside Amy Schumer.
Raised in Minnesota, Altman grew up around the Guthrie Theater, where her parents worked, and performed in school productions before moving into writing.
